About the Artist

Richard Wille is a North American artist living in the Southwest United States. He primarily works within the realm of illustration with otherworldly creatures being his main subject. When not working on art or occasional writing, he enjoys film as well as collecting music, comics, and art books.

From an early age Richard was drawn to and influenced by surreal imagery. He was home-schooled until the age of eleven which helped foster his love of art and allowed him to practice drawing on a daily basis. Highly stylized animation, album covers, and comic books greatly influenced an imagination full of strange visions. Richard's artwork often displays an odd narrative with an engaging look into a world of macabre yet comical characters while serving as a reminder that every shadow comes from a source of light.
